Corinne Sue Powell, 69, of Burlington, died Monday, March 30, 2026, at her home.

Born August 14, 1956, in Burlington, she was the daughter of James Lewis and Bessie Marie Weak.

She married Randy J. Powell on September 1, 1983, in Burlington. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2019.

Corinne worked as a laundry attendant for Great River Entertainment. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by two brothers, Larry Weak of Burlington and Mark Weak of Cedar Falls; sister-in-law Rhonda Weak and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Elden Weak.

According to her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel. Burial will be held in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
