
Glenda Louise Freeman, 59, of Oakville, died Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born November 15, 1965, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Glenn "Red" Polson Jr. and Karen Peterson. On June 26, 1991, she married Don Freeman in Burlington.
Glenda worked for many years as a housekeeper for several hotels in the Burlington area. She was a hard worker and had a good attention to detail. Glenda enjoyed traveling with her husband, Don, and took many trips around the United States. She loved her dogs and enjoyed spoiling them. Glenda looked forward to playing bingo and putting on and visiting yard sales. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of Don, both of which she did well. Her sister, Karla, was her best friend and she cherished the relationship that she had with her.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Don; children, Nicole (Chad) Christofferson and Donny "Taft" (Kristen) Freeman; grandchildren, Tannisyn, Blake, Braxtyn, Lyblie, Kynnick, and Tayden; siblings, Cyndi (Tom) Moore, Karla Jean Polson, Lyle (Lana) Polson, and D.J. (Mary) Polson; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and special niece, Molly (Kiano) Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Buddy, and her niece, Mallery.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory. No services are scheduled at this time.
