Susan Ellen Brenneman, 80, died from natural causes at 2:30 a.m. July 24, 2022.&nbsp; Born in Elkhart, Ind., April 11, 1942 to Alpheus D. and Lila Leah Hartman, she was the oldest of seven (Fern, Larry, David, Debra, with Richard and Mary preceding her in death).&nbsp; She married Curtis Brenneman in Hannibal, Mo., Nov. 12, 1960, who she met attending high school at Iowa Mennonite in Kalona. They were members of the West Burlington Christian Church.&nbsp; She enjoyed her family, spent time making treasured (and spectacular) greeting cards, and loved to talk with people.&nbsp; She was a homemaker throughout her life, selling Wheatonware and Avon successfully before starting work for Drs. Kent and McGee in 1977, then working at Family Practice, retiring in May 2014.&nbsp; She is survived by her husband, three sons (Douglas, Randall, Chad), seven grandchildren (Rivir, Cassidy, Drayke, Joel, Mycah, Marissa, Trey), and one great-granddaughter (Rayna), nieces, nephews, and cousins.&nbsp; A Celebration of Life service is Saturday, July 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the West Burlington Christian Church. A light meal and fellowship will follow.&nbsp;
