Richard Lewis Huston, 82, of McKenzie, Tenn., formerly of West Burlington, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, in McKenzie, Tenn.
Born Feb. 23, 1939, in Aledo, Ill., he was the son of Lytle Lewis and Elsie Gluba Huston. On Aug. 18, 1981, he married Mary Jane Lamb in Burlington. She died May 10, 2020.
Richard was a farmer and loved fishing and hunting. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bryan (Amanda) Huston of McKenzie, Tenn., and Bradley (Ginger) Huston of New London; three step-daughters, Karen (David) Tweed of Galesburg, Ill., Judith Heath of Cedar Rapids, Merri (Rod) Haight of Robins; two step-sons, Mark (Janelle) Talley of Burlington, Wayne (Kim) Talley of Burlington; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Candy Woods of Galesburg, Ill.
A graveside committal service will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2022, at Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
