Theresa "Teri" Lynn Cross, 65, of Bowen, Ill. died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at Countryview Care Center in Macomb, Ill.
Born October 21, 1957, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Leslie "Buster" and Ann Roe Gaul. She began dating the love of her life, Dennis "Gunther" Cross in 1985. They remained together until her death.
Teri enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, gardening, knitting, and crocheting. She loved music, especially the Beatles, and attending concerts with Gunther.
Survivors include Dennis "Gunther" Cross of Bowen, Ill.; one daughter, Bethany Ann Kuhling of Flora, Ill.; one son, Jacob Nathaniel Thompson of Ft. Madison; step-son, Simon Cross of Hannibal, Mo.; two grandchildren, Arabella and London Kuhlig; step-granddaughter, Cherish Winters; four sisters, Fonda Gaul of Burlington, Kara Trimble of West Burlington, Cody (Alex) Malner of Florida, and Cheryl Gibbons of Macon, MO; one brother, Robert "Bob" (Anna) Gaul of Burlington; and mother-in-law, Julie Bartleson of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Randy Gaul; and father-in-law, Wesley Cross.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
The memorial service for Teri will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street, Burlington. Inurnment will be in Spring Grove Cemetery following the service.
