Robert Orval Hellenthal, 95, of Burlington, died Monday, August 29, 2022, at the New London Specialty Care Center.&nbsp;

Born February 26, 1927, in Burlington and he was the son of Orval Henry and Winona Magdelene Bruhl Hellenthal.&nbsp; Robert attended St Paul’s Catholic Schools in Burlington. He married Susan Mae McNeece on July 7, 1984, in West Burlington. She died January 13, 2017.&nbsp;

Robert retired from Industrial property assistant management. He worked for Federal Civil Service for 33 years.&nbsp;

He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish. He also was a member of the Eagles Aerie #150 and the National Rifle Association.&nbsp;

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Orval and Winona, and his wife Susan.&nbsp;

The mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 2, &nbsp;at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Marty Goetz officiating. Interment will follow at Aspen Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Lunning Chapel.&nbsp;
