Kenneth Wayne Schnedler, 88, of Burlington died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington. 

He was born June 29, 1935, in Oakville, the son of George and Vivian Schweitzer Schnedler. On Aug. 31, 1984, he married Dolores Ann Scanlan in Prairie du Chien, Wis. She preceded him in death Sept. 11, 2021. 

Survivors include two granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and three siblings, John Schnedler, Melvin Schnedler, and Eunice Turner.

Cremation has been entrusted to Banks &amp; Beals Funeral Home.

A visitation with the family will be held from 12 until 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at Banks &amp; Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City, Ill.

A memorial fund has been established for Boys Town.
