Michael W. Jarvis, 73, of Niota, Ill., died Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, Ill.

Lee and Evelyn K. Schraber Jarvis. He served in the Army during the

knew if he was serious or joking, and had hundreds of tales and stories
he loved to share.

daughters, Sonya Jarvis of Burlington, Loriann (Donald) Kreie of
Arlington, Wash., and Danette Jarvis-Lawson of Denmark; six
grandchildren; one great grandchild; five brothers, Lamont Jarvis of
Marshalltown, Harry (Becky) Jarvis of Farmington, Toby
(Shelley) Jarvis of Fort Madison, Robert (Julie) Jarvis and
James Jarvis, both of Oquawka, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Gurden, Eldon and Dennis.

23rd at Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Mark Baker will officiate. Entombment
will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. The Burlington
Area Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military rites. Visitation will
be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Lunning Chapel ,
where the family will receive friends.
