Megan Hines, 55, of Burlington, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at her home. Born July 7, 1966, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Thomas Oliver and Shirley Audreen Fulton Hines. Megan was a direct support professional for Home Caring Services for 23 years and, more recently, for Hope Haven. She was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Survivors include her three sons, Micah Hines, Tobias Hines, and Jeremiah Hines, all of Burlington; and two sisters, Cathy Watson and Tamara Behne, both of Burlington.

The memorial funeral service for Megan will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22 at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Her nephew, Mr. John Marron, will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorials have been established for P.A.W.S. in Fort Madison or to Great Pyrenees Rescue Inc., of Iowa. According to her wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
