Roger S. Augsburger, 64, of Burlington, Iowa, died Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

Born on January 15, 1962, in Mount Pleasant, he was the son of Al and Shirley Dirth Augsburger. In 1982, he married Mia Martin, of that union, they had two children: Taylor and Bethany. They later divorced. He married Faylea McMillan and later divorced.

Roger was a 1980 graduate of Burlington High School and Southeastern Community College, where he obtained an associate's degree. He worked as an arborist his entire life and loved his line of work. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, and watching the Chicago Cubs play. Most of all, he loved being with his family.

He is survived by his four children: Taylor Augsburger, Bethany (Kelly) Morris, Dalaina (Tim) Burns, and Samantha (Matt) Osborne, all of Burlington; nine grandchildren: Addilyn, Gavin, Kaelen, Cheyenne, Alivia, Lily, Leila, Luke, and Timothy Jr.; one great-grandchild, Tinsley. Also surviving is a sister, Amber Augsburger of Burlington.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Melody Augsburger.

Per his wishes cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel.

A celebration of Roger's life will be held at a later date.
