Kelli Sharlene Reif, age 58, died Monday Feb. 26, 2024 in the presence of her loving family.

Kelli was born Nov. 21, 1965 in Burlington. She was the daughter of George Reif and Lorraine Johnson Reif.

Kelli grew up in Sperry and graduated from Mediapolis Community School District in 1984. On May 18, 1985, she married Bill Moehn, they later divorced in 2013. She was of the Methodist faith.

Over the years she worked at various restaurants as a server, the Quality Inn and was Assistant Manager at Long John Silvers. She owned A1 Antiques and Unique's for many years, as well as Big Momma's Gifts and Goodies.

Kelli had a curious spirit and enjoyed meeting new people. She enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling and traveling. She excelled in Art and attended SCC for art classes. She was best known for her custom Pinatas that she created and designed for parties.

Kelli loved going to flea markets and setting up at fairs and festivals. Kids enjoyed coming to her booth at the area County Fairs and everyone remembers her for her novelty gifts she sold. She was very active in her children’s athletics and other school events including being the coach of their soccer team and also serving on local PTA committees.

She was an avid patron of Steamboat Days and never missed a concert in over 20 years. She loved REO Speedwagon, having been to over 15 concerts with her sister.

Kelli started collecting monkeys as a child begining with her favorite doll being Jo-Jo the monkey. She had hundreds of different monkeys, figurines, etc. She named each one beginning with the letter J in their name.

She is survived by two sons, Marc (Deme Hamilton) Moehn and Monte Moehn; two grandsons, Braxten Moehn and Gage Cable Moehn; her sister Rhonda Reif, and her beloved dog, Traveler, as well as various aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

A memorial service is planned for Thursday March 7, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at the Loft on 416 Jefferson Street Burlington. Interment will be at a later date. A memorial fund has been established.
