Brenda M. Strothoff, 62, of Mediapolis, died Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born on July 21, 1962, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of Sherman “Max” and Grace Wagg. She married Steve Strothoff in Wapello.

Brenda graduated from Burlington High School in 1980. She worked for Wal-Mart for 22 years where she retired from in 2020. Brenda enjoyed taking walks in the cemeteries and outdoors especially when there was a beautiful sunset and taking photos. She was very talented and skilled photographer. She enjoyed baking cupcakes and cakes while listening to K-LOVE radio station. She loved nothing more than to help take care of her grandchildren and spend time with family.

She is survived by her husband Steve of Mediapolis; two children: Brad Miller and Rebecca Miller both of Mediapolis; one granddaughter Hannah Grace Wehage.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson Keegan Miller.

Per her wishes cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Clover Creek in Mediapolis.
