Janet Kay Gorsch, 76, of West Burlington, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at her home.

Born Jan. 26, 1947, in Grinnell, she was the daughter of Charles and Erma Smith DePauw.

On June 18, 1966, she married Charles “Chuck” Gorsch in Brooklyn, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Stephanie Gerdom; two sons, Nathan Gorsch and Marc Gorsch; seven grandchildren; two brothers, John DePauw and Joel DePauw; and one sister, Julie Kriegel.

Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.

A celebration of life will be held at West Burlington Christian Church on Friday, March 29 at 6 p.m. with a dessert bar to follow.

A memorial has been established for West Burlington Christian Church.
