Melanie Bradley, 56, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, at home with her daughter and husband by her side.
She was born on Jan., 2, 1967, in Burlington to parents Alan Neil and Heidi Bruner.
She married Mark Beverlin Sr. on Aug., 24, 2002. He unexpectedly died in Nov. 2002. She married Marty Bradley Nov. 2014.
Melanie graduated from Burlington High School in 1985. She went on to become certified pharmacy technician by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.
She was working as a pharmacy technician at Walmart in West Burlington at the time of her death.
She enjoyed camping, kayaking, taking cruises, and attending football games for the Kansas City Chiefs. Her ultimate enjoyment in life was spending time with those she loved. She was always laughing and creating everlasting memories.
She is survived by, her daughter Cassie Robinson and granddaughter Brynn Robinson of Bondurant, husband, Marty, and children, Erin (Jason) Stratton, Nichole Bradley, grandsons; Xander (Emma) Chalupa, Jaxon Stratton, Patrick and Liam Bradley all of Burlington. Other survivors include; one brother, Pete (Norma) Hodgerson of Tucson, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, and son-in-law Scott Robinson.
The family will be holding a visitation Monday, Oct. 23, 2023 at Lunning Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held the following day, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. also at Lunning Chapel. The family welcomes all to celebrate her life following her service with a luncheon at LOFT on Jefferson.
