Todd Allen Kayser, 55, of Cedar Rapids, died Dec. 24, 2023 at his home.

Born Oct. 10, 1968, in Livingston, Mont., he was the son of Dennis and Sheila Vandervort Kayser. He was of the protestant faith.

Todd graduated from Burlington High School with the class of 1987. He was the assistant market manager for the Meat Department at HyVee in Marion.

Todd was a past member of the Civil Air Patrol. He enjoyed working with model military planes and he was a Star Wars fan. Todd was a historian and he loved his daughters and grandsons.

Survivors include his two daughters Kelsey (Logan) Hall of Clarence, Iowa, and Michaela Kayser of Fort Collins, Colo.; two grandsons Miles and Marshall Hall; his parents Dennis and Sheila Kayser of Burlington; two brothers Jeffery (Ashley) Kayser of Livingston, Mont. and Chad (Lori) Kayser of Burlington.

Todd was preceded in death by several grandparents.

There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29 at Aspen Grove Cemetery with pastor JudyAnn Morse officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Lunning Chapel before the service.
