Stephen “Steve” R. Ramsey, 80, of Burlington, died Saturday, Feb, 15, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington. Born Oct. 19, 1944, in Burlington, he was the son of Gerald and Lorraine Ramsey. He married Nancy Kirby on March 29, 1980.
Steve worked for J.I. Case for 34 years until his retirement. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Nancy Ramsey of Burlington; son Mike (Christie) Dixon of South Carolina; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
According to his wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.at a later date.
