
Jeri Denise Asbridge, 62, of Hamilton, Ill., passed away at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at her home in Hamilton.
She was born on April 19, 1963, in Keokuk, the daughter of Thomas and Rogene Lunt Dye. She married Bob Hilgert. He preceded her in death. On June 8, 2013, she married Charles Kerry Asbridge at the United Methodist Church in Carthage.
She is survived by her husband Kerry; brother: John (Janene) Dye of Dahinda, Illinois; nephew: Jacob (Ashlee) Dye of Princeville, Illinois and niece: Lauren (David Hamilton) Dye of Wyoming, Illinois; step-children: Sumer (Adam) Allensworth - Wallace, Kane Asbridge and brother-in-law: Kris (Cheryl) Asbridge Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Bob and brother-in-law: Kevin Asbridge.
Jeri earned her master’s degree in business from Western Illinois University and went on to work for the Harris Corporation and later Roquette America. She was an active member of the Women’s Civic Club in Quincy, as well as the Keokuk Yacht Club and the Southside Boat Club. Jeri had a passion for traveling and exploring new places. Above all, her love of family was very strong. She especially enjoyed activities with her niece, nephew and their children.
Her body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz - Banks & Beals Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hamilton, Illinois.
Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hamilton.
A memorial has been established in her memory for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and can be mailed to the family at: 101 Hillcrest Drive, Hamilton, Illinois 62341.
