Leanna L. Leffel, 81, of Burlington, died Friday, July 28 at Arbor Court in Mount Pleasant.

Born Nov. 21, 1941, in Union, Iowa, she was the daughter of Richard and Inez Mitchell Wolford. She married Gary Leffel on Aug. 16, 1960, in Burlington.

Leanna was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Leffel of Burlington; three sons, Mitchell Leffel of Eureka, Calif., Richard Leffel of San Diego, Calif. and Michael Leffel of Stagecoach, Nev.; three grandsons, Derek Leffel, Mitchell Leffel, and Isaac Leffel; four great-grandchildren; one sister Linda Vandeman of Ashland, Neb. and one brother Darwin Wolford of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

According to her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel. Burial will be held at a later date in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
