Kenneth D. Johnson, 79, of Danville, died Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.

Born August 11, 1945 to Howard and Grace Johnson, he attended Mediapolis School and was an Air Force Veteran. &nbsp;After the service he took a four year carpenter apprenticeship and worked as a carpenter on construction for twenty years. &nbsp;He later worked in the carpenter shop at American Ordinance for 22 years.

He enjoyed rebuilding old John Deere law tractors and working in his shop.

Survivors include wife, Judith Johnson, children; Jeff (Jennifer) Johnson, Tamara (David) Breon; five granddaughters; eleven great-grandchildren; and brother, Warren Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Grace; and brothers, Donald and Larry.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

The Graveside Committal Service for Mr. Johnson will be Tuesday, May 13, 2025, 11 a.m., at Jagger Cemetery in Danville with Rev. Jack Edmisson officiating. &nbsp;Military honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force.
