Terry Stephenson, 73, of Burlington, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023.Terry was born Aug. 27, 1949, the son of Ila Stephenson Miller and Gerald Miller.

Terry was a dedicated and hard worker. &nbsp;He worked a number of positions throughout his life, starting with the Heil Ice Company, then a number of years as a grounds man at Aspen Grove Cemetery, and finally working at Walmart. &nbsp;He would mow his neighbors' yards for extra money. &nbsp;Terry loved cars as well, and would spend a lot of time thinking about which one he would like to buy next. &nbsp;Terry also loved his dogs and spending time with his family.&nbsp;

His survivors include his siblings, Ila Jacobs, Diana Thompson, Jerry Miller, Mary Stewart, and Bradley Miller; several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mom and step-dad, Ila and Gerald; and sister, Lisa Miller.

A simple cremation has been arranged through Prugh Funeral Services in accordance with his wishes. &nbsp;

Memorials can be made to the Des Moines County Humane Society.
