Emma Renee Stevens, 20, of Biggsville, Ill., died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023.
Born July 19, 2003, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Gabriel Stevens and Shannon Leasch Bielser.
Emma was a graduate of West Central High School and was currently attending the nursing program at Southeastern Community College.
She worked for Wal-Mart in online and store pick-up.
Emma was an amazing person and a dedicated student. Her passion was to become a pediatric nurse. She loved her family time and was very close to all of her siblings and enjoyed traveling out of town, reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends, and her time to herself.
She is survived by her parents; Shannon Bielser of Burlington and Gabriel and Alexsha Stevens of Biggsville, Ill.; three brothers, Hunter Bielser of Burlington and Jackson Stevens and Griffen Stevens both of Biggsville; one sister Josie Stevens of Biggsville and a sibling on the way; maternal grandmother Jan Berrong of Wever and maternal grandfather Roy Leasch of Mississippi; paternal grandparents Miles and Deborah Krieger of Burlington; aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her aunt Jamie Leasch.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21 at Lunning Chapel. The funeral service be held following the visitation at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Pediatric Department at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center.
