Earl L. Davis, 83, of Middletown, Iowa, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Earl Leon Davis was born on August 31, 1943, to Raymond and Marilyn (Patton) Davis. Earl worked with Boilermaker Local 83 for over 30 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965.
On April 27, 1973, Earl married Cindy Mellinger at Oak Street Baptist Church in Burlington. Together, they have two children, Dayna (Cody) Daves of Danville and Dawna (Brian) McKillip of Fort Madison. Earl is also survived by sister, Sandra Picken, stepsister, Sandra Fugate, and stepbrother, Jack West.
Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking care of his yard. He was a past member of Burlington Motorcycle Clubs, NRA and the Eagles Club.
A private family graveside service will be held in Kossuth Cemetery, rural Mediapolis.
