Edward Eugene Rettig, 83, Burlington, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born June 20, 1938, in Terre Haute, Ill., he was the son of Lester Henry and Marie Kathleen Waddell Rettig.
Edward served in the Navy for eight years. His work included Winegard Company, a marina in Florida, maintenance in Baltimore and construction.
Survivors include his two daughters Kathy Elliott and Tammy (Jim) Lowe of Burlington; brother, Ronald Rettig of Burlington; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
There will be no formal funeral services at this time. Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
