
Judith D. Pohren, 81, of Burlington, died Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born Feb. 25, 1944, in LaHarpe, Ill., she was the daughter of Albert K. “Jack” and Doris L. Hainline. She married Randall McKinnon on Oct. 7, 1962 in Burlington, he preceded her in death on June 20, 1987. She then married Mark D. Pohren on June 18, 1993.
Judith worked as an Assistant Merchandiser for JC Penney for 15 years until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of First United Church of Christ.
She loved spending time with her grandkids, outdoor activities, gardening and mowing her lawn. She took pride in caring for her son Larry and her family. She was a wonderful person and was always there to help everyone.
She is survived by her husband Mark Pohren; children Larry McKinnon, Patti (Greg) Brooks, Neil (Kim) Pohren and April (Todd) Williams; grandchildren, Heidi (Ben) Robinson, Allison (Chelsea) Kline, Jacob (Kayli) Brooks, Courtney (Dylan) Nelson, Breck (Holli) Williams and Evan (Jayden) Williams; great grandchildren William Robinson, Oscar Robinson, Noah Brooks, Annistyn Nelson, Tucker Nelson, Wesson Williams and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Randall McKinnon and son Joel Pohren.
Per her wishes cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
Burial will be held at a later date in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
