Emily Anne Bohnenkamp, 42, of Lomax, Ill., died Sunday, September 20, 2026, at her home. Born August 29, 1984, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Rickey Allan and Lori Ann Ruberg Bohnenkamp. She worked for a short time at the Dallas City Community Center, then later at Prall Insurance and at Corporate Medical. She was a member of Grace Bible Church in Dallas City. She enjoyed playing computer games, working puzzles, listening to music, doing water aerobics, and traveling on family vacations. Emily was always very sociable, and she loved spending time with people. Survivors include her mother, Lori Ann Bohnenkamp of Lomax, IL, three uncles, Tim (Theresa) Ruberg, James (Rebecca) Ruberg both of Burlington, Mike (Young) Ruberg of Olympia, Wash.; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, two sisters, Corina and Elizabeth Bohnenkamp, maternal and paternal grandparents, three aunts and three uncles. The funeral service for Emily will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2026, at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street, with Rev. James Ruberg officiating.&nbsp; Burial will be in Carman Cemetery.&nbsp; Memorials have been established for the Grace Bible Church of Dallas City Food Pantry and the Oak Street Baptist Church Deaconess Fund, which is a benevolent fund.&nbsp; Prugh Funeral Service is in care of the arrangements.
