Sherrie Denise Dickenson, 62, of Burlington, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, at Kensington-Evergreen in Fort Madison.

Born Oct. 2, 1962, she was the daughter of Donald Downs and Ethel Dean Hughs. She married David Dickenson on July 3, 2003.

Sherrie absolutely loved to clean and was a self-proclaimed “clean freak”. She loved going on motorcycle rides, attending concerts and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her husband David Dickenson of Burlington; children David Dickenson, Lindsey Creek, Samantha Miller and Nicole Lisembee; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; her mother; siblings Greg Downs, Liesha Lawler, Shane Downs and Colby Downs and nieces and nephews.

According to her wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
