Kathleen Marie Johns, 80, of Burlington, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at her home.

Born July 9, 1941, in Akron, Iowa, she was the daughter of John "Jack" and Amelia Lambert Henrich. In 1959, she married Donald G. Hoffman. They later divorced. On Sept. 8, 1981, she married Arthur Franklin Johns in Burlington. He later died on April 23, 2012.

She was a devout Catholic with a strong faith.&nbsp;

Survivors include four children, Irene, Richard, James, Sharon; one stepdaughter, Carla; and lots of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

The Memorial Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Johns will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22 at Divine Mercy Parish-St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Very Rev. Father Marty Goetz as the celebrant. A time of food and fellowship will be held in St. John's Cafeteria following the service. Burial will be in Akron at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name and can be sent to her daughter Sharon at 3918 225th St. Oakville, IA 52646.
