Mary Thayer Patrick, 81, of Danville died Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Danville Care Center.
Born May 5, 1941, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Everett Frederick and Cora Lena Breuer Miller. She was of the Methodist faith.
On March 30, 1963, she married Wendall “Curtis” Thayer. He died January 24, 1994. Mary married Michael Patrick in 1996. He died in June 2016.
Mary was a secretary for ProGas, Motorola, Burlington Basket Company, Sylvania, and IAAP.
Survivors include one daughter Julie (Todd) Howe of Burlington; one son Aaron (Robin) Thayer of Gilbert, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Samantha (Rusty) Mears, Rachelle (Justin) Fairlie, Kody Howe, Trinity (Christofer) Barton, Brooke Thayer, and Zachary Thayer; six great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Cameron Fairlie, Kingston and Cora Mears, Lillianne and Chase Barton and one brother Wayne (Margaret) Miller of St. Joseph, Mo.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother Violet Ida Miller, her husbands, one brother, and one sister.
Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel. There will be no services at this time. Inurnment will be at a later date in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Danville Lions Club.
