Linda Kay Cale, 73, of Burlington, died Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at her home. Born Oct. 19, 1951, she was the daughter of Richard and Mary Snowden.

She was a 1969 graduate of Burlington Notre Dame High School.

She married Robert Cale on Jan. 6, 1989, in Minneapolis, Minn. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2005.

Linda was the Owner and Operator of Old Stone Mill Antiques for several years. She previously worked for the Johnson County Environmental Department in Kansas and AmEx where she met her husband.

She was a member of the Downtown Partners (a division of the Greater Burlington Partnership) and loved listening to music. She was very devoted to her mother and her care.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Snowden; three children Kathryn Cale of Keokuk, Michele Cale (Jeff) Bullins of Kansas and Michael (Denise) Cale of Illinois; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, husband Robert and son Marcus Cale.

According to her wishes a private family graveside service and committal will be held at Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, October 19th from 4 to 6 p.m.  at Wake N Bake located in downtown Burlington.

Memorials in her memory are suggested to P.A.W. Animal Shelter or Every Step Hospice.
