Ethel Mae Wills, 94, died Jan. 11, 2024, in Burlington.
Ethel was born June 27, 1929 in Ottumwa, the daughter of William and Pearl Young Clark.
Ethel worked at the Midwest Biscuit Company for over 30 years. When Ethel was younger, she enjoyed camping, fishing and motorcycling with her husband, Charles. They would spend many days going to auctions to discover new treasures and antiquing. Ethel loved crocheting and gifting afghans to her family. She was an avid bingo player and never passed up an opportunity to play. Moreover, she loved her family. Her personality and kindness will be missed, but her memory will be carried on by all who love her.
Ethel’s family include her children, Gerald (Joyce) Wills, Debra (Robert) Manning, Michael C. Wills; grandchildren, Shane (Margie) Royer, Rachel Manning, Justin Manning; two great grandchildren; sister, Barb Hester; several nieces and nephews. Sadly, Ethel is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; daughter, Christine Royer; sister, Juanita Chapman and brother, Orrin Clark.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Prugh funeral service. No services are being planned at this time.
