Leaford Walker, 93, of Burlington, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2022, at New London Specialty Care. Born Jan. 27, 1929, in Burlington, he was the son of George and Martha Mehaffy Walker. He married Clarabelle “Clara” Nichols on March 14, 1947. She died Dec. 4, 2008. He worked for IAAP for many years until his retirement in 1991. Lee enjoyed woodworking and loved to craft things with wood. He loved his time spent with his daughters and grandchildren and in more recent years with his cat “Kitty." He is survived by his four daughters, Linda (Ralph) Kaufman of Burlington, Sheila (Rick) Long of Eldridge, Iowa, Connie (Randy) Long of Burlington and Karen (Mike) McKelvey of Pinedale, Wyo.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. According to his wishes, a private graveside funeral service and interment will be held.&nbsp;&nbsp;
