Becky Cheely Krise, 60, of Burlington, died Friday, November 11, 2022, at her home.

Born October 3, 1962, in Glendale, Calif., she was the daughter of Loran Lee and Marilyn Wegener Cheely. On February 27, 2021, she married Buddy Krise in Burlington, Iowa.&nbsp;

She was a semi-driver for many years and cleaned apartments and businesses as well. She last worked at Circle K on Roosevelt.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Becky was an ornery lady. She worked on her vehicles, and her husband Buddy said, "She was the only woman I know who would wear a dress to fix her car." She liked to play games on her phone, listen to music, and watch her TV shows. Most of all Becky enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids.

Survivors include husband, Buddy; three children, Melissa Cheely, Tasha Standridge, and Robert Wingerson; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Cindy Cheely and Alice Foster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.

The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Krise will be Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Community of Christ Church.&nbsp;
