Juley Gilbert, 59, of Burlington died Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at her home.

Born July 4, 1963, she was the daughter of Kenneth Harold and Alice Marie Stodt Lafferty.&nbsp;On July 1, 2006, she married Larry Joe Gilbert.

Juley enjoyed playing video games with her daughter. She previously had worked as a waitress at Hungry Bear.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; two daughters Nina (Tybo) Kelly of Burlington and Shonna O’Donnell of Iowa City; one grandson; her mother Alice Marie Simmons of Raleigh, N.C.; five sisters Joy Caskey of Eldridge, Mo., Gerleen Wymore of Burlington, Jody Timmerman of Iowa City, Shirley Ann Lafferty of Ft. Madison and Alice Middleton of Raleigh, N.C.; two brothers Ja-de Lafferty of Burlington and Mikle LeRoy Lafferty of Raleigh, N.C.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth.

Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
