Linda Kay John, 68, of Burlington, died Sunday, March 3, 2024 at her home.

Born July 13, 1955 in Lansing, Michigan, she was the daughter of Nancy Riggs Black.

Linda graduated from Grand Ledge High School in Grand Ledge, Michigan. She married Randy John on Nov. 22, 1983, in Beaufort, South Carolina. They recently celebrated their 40th anniversary.

Linda had a strong Christian Faith. She was a vet assistant and loved all animals. She was a people person with a kind heart. She loved working with flowers and the outdoors.

Survivors include her husband Randy of Burlington and two sisters Leslie Bird of Rolla, Mo. and Beverly Jones of Vicksburg, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her mother Nancy; infant son; brother Keith and sister Kathy.

The memorial service for Linda will be 2 p.m., Sunday, March 10 at Lunning Chapel with Dr Jason Unzicker officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
