Larry A. Sorenson, 74, of Burlington, died Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Klein Center in West Burlington. Born June 13, 1952, he was the son of Lloyd and Lillian Iona Sorenson.

He was a 1970 graduate of Burlington High School.

Larry worked in production at Shearers Foods for 26 years, until his retirement in 2016.

He enjoyed watching the NFL, NASCAR, and Iowa Hawkeyes football and basketball. He loved all automobiles, especially Trans Ams, and enjoyed attending Mecum Car Auctions.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Linda Sorenson.

According to his wishes, a private graveside inurnment will be held at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
