Mary Ann Lukens, 85, of Gladstone, Ill. died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at her home. Born July 9, 1936 in Carman, Ill., she was the daughter of Ovid and Helen Larkins Polson. She married William Lukens on Dec. 4, 1955. Mary was a 1954 graduate of G and O High School. She was a homemaker. Mary is survived by her husband; three daughters, Donna Adolph of Gladstone, Ill. and Ann Zart and Jody Gustafson, both of Burlington; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Paul Polson of Burlington, Lois Polson of Danville, and Jack Polson of Gladstone, Ill. A graveside service and inurnment will be held in Carman Cemetery at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. According to her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
