Alice Irene Fye, 90, of West Burlington, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at the Klein Center in West Burlington.

Born April 7, 1931, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Russell C.and Edith A. Johnson Pilling. Alice graduated from Mediapolis High School in 1948. On Jan. 17, 1951, she married Richard W. Fye in Kirksville, Mo. They later divorced.&nbsp;

Alice was a mother first, worked as a contract mail carrier, farmed, and worked at the Christian Book Store in West Burlington.

She was a member of the Faith Outreach Christian Church in Mount Pleasant and was a Bible study leader and Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include her children, Mike Fye of West Burlington, Randy Fye of Springdale, Ark., Myra Coberley of Nixa, Mo., and Jon Fye of Sperry; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Alice Fye will be 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home with Monte Knudsen officiating.&nbsp; Burial will be in Kossuth Cemetery.&nbsp;&nbsp;

A memorial has been established for the Klein Center.
