Mary Anna Larsen, 88, of New London, died Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington. Born December 16, 1936, in New London, she was the daughter of Willis T. and Mabel Celestine Sheppard Christe. On November 3, 1956, she married Rueben Johannas Larsen in Clovis, N.M. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1994. She attended Mount Union School. Mary worked as a Home Health Aide and a cook until she retired. She was of the Methodist faith. Mary enjoyed traveling and was always looking for a good deal at yard sales and garage sales. Survivors include her son, David Lee Larsen of Danville; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Patricia) Chirste of Thayer, Mo.; two nieces and eight nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ronnie, Larry and George Christe and two sisters., Betty Jane Christe and Phyllis Turnquist. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory. The memorial service for Mary will be held at a later date.&nbsp; Burial will be in Keokuk National Cemetery. &nbsp; Prugh Funeral Service is in care of the arrangements.
