
Donald R. Wall, 74, of Burlington, died Monday, June 29, 2026, at Prestige Care Center in Fairfield.
Born on January 19, 1952, in Galesburg, Ill., he was the son of Alvin and Sadie Belle Olson Wall. On August 3, 2013, in Keokuk, he married Nellie Moulton.
Donald was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Burlington. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, doing yardwork and gardening. Donald loved to attend, set up and sell at flea markets. His most favorite holiday was Christmas. Every year he would set up displays in his yard and hang lights all over outside. Spending time with his family meant the most to him.
He is survived by his wife Nellie; four children: Tonya Corvia of Farris, Ill., Don R. Wall Jr., Sherry Fugate of Texas, Dustin Wall of Kahoka, Mo.; six stepchildren: Rebecca Walker of Burlington, Margaret Wilber of Burlington, April Chick of Coralville, Dawn Alexander of Mendon, Ill., Carol Nicholas of Springfield, Ill., and Lisa Smith of Colchester, Ill.; nine grandchildren and four sisters. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Per his wishes cremation has been entrusted and accorded to the care of Lunning Chapel.
A elebration of Donald's life will be held at a later date.
