Jody Nichole Price, 44, of Nauvoo, Illinois, died at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at her home. Jody was born April 16, 1981, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Joe and Lori Hamilton Canterbury.&nbsp; She was raised and educated in Burlington, Iowa, and graduated from Burlington High School in 1999. After high school, she worked in sales. Her job took her all over the United States. She loved to be outdoors, whether gardening, mowing, or helping others with landscaping projects. She also enjoyed going to yard sales, collecting “things” , and finding the perfect Christmas gifts for her family and fiends. She was a member of the Church of Jesus of Latter-Day Saints.&nbsp; Survivors include two sons; one granddaughter; her parents: Joe and Lori; one bother: Joseph (Nicole Foster) Canterbury; one sister: Lisa (Mic) Haley; a special friend: Nathan Nelson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by one daughter: Kacy Grace Nelson and her grandparents.&nbsp; Cremation has been entrusted to Schmitz-Banks &amp; Beals Funeral Home of Nauvoo.&nbsp; A celebration of Jody’s Life will be held at a later date.
