Tracy Denise (Anderson) West, 66, of Burlington, Iowa, died Friday, February 13, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born on October 26, 1959, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, she was the daughter of John and Celia (Watkins) Anderson. On September 9, 1978, in Burlington, Iowa, she married her high school sweetheart Jeffrey R. West.
Tracy was a 1978 graduate of Burlington High School. She owned and operated a house cleaning business for thirty years. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Burlington and PEO Chapter P. Tracy was very active in her church and loved serving the Lord. In her free time, she enjoyed scrapbooking, quilting and working in her flower garden. Most of all, Tracy’s family meant the most to her. Spending time with her children and grandchildren brought her the most joy. Tracy took much pride in being Jeff’s wife and mother to her children.
She is survived by her loving husband Jeff; three children: Aron (Amy) West of Danville, Iowa, Fr. MaKarios (Angela) West of Columbus, Ohio, and Rachel West of Iowa City, Iowa; six grandchildren: Aiden, Aviana and Ashton West of Danville, Anastasia, Sophia and Demiana West of Columbus, Ohio; mother Celia Anderson of Burlington, Iowa; three sisters: Shelly (Rick) Rustad of Urbana, Iowa, Christy (Chris) Kelly of Fort Madison, and Kimberly (Nick) Dominguez of Glendale, Arizona. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father John, grandparents: Virgil and Elizabeth Watkins and John and Evelyn Anderson.
The funeral service for Tracy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at First Assembly of God in Burlington, with Pastor Jeff Gowen officiating. Burial will be held in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
The visitation for Tracy will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026, at First Assembly of God in Burlington, where the family will meet with friends.
Memorials have been established in her memory for First Assembly of God Church, Nursery Department and the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center Home Health and Hospice.
