
Arnhild “Ann” Zaiser, 92, of Burlington, died Saturday, April 18, 2026, at her home in Addington Place.
Born April 9, 1934, in Germany, she was the daughter of Heinrich and Anna Harre Kammeier. She married Mark R. Zaiser on August 24, 1958, in Burlington. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1993.
Ann worked in production for Sylvania and IRC and later as a home health aide. In her younger years she worked for Oppeng and hand rolled cigars.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, sewing and loved to cook.
Survivors include her two sons; Dirk M. (Betty) Zaiser of Danville and Rex D. (Cinnamon) Zaiser of Burlington; three granddaughters, Savannah Sue Zaiser, Jessica Zaiser and Jenna Zaiser; seven great grandchildren and two sisters, Edda Zicker and Anita Kaisel both of Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Helga Linde, Hanna Kock, Frederik Kammeier and Siegfried Kammeier.
The funeral service for Mrs. Zaiser will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Bethany Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
According to her wishes, cremation will be accorded following the funeral services. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 4 at Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
