Georgia Mae Thompson, 70 of Davenport, died at Danville Care Center on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021.&nbsp;

She was born Nov. 2, 1951, in Sikeston, Mo, the 
daughter of Pastor Marshall Henry Thompson and Leetta Thompson.

Georgia was born and raised in Sikeston. She later moved to
 Burlington and was a member at Union Baptist Church. Georgia was a caregiver and maintenance for the YMCA in Davenport.

She is survived by one daughter, Vonsuere D. Thompson of Joplin, Mo.; one son, Carlos B. Thompson; one brother, Iva “Ricky” Thompson of Burlington; eight 
grandkids and several great-grandkids.

The funeral service for Mrs. Thompson was held
December 30, 2021, at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home with Reverend Lawrence 
L. Manson officiating.&nbsp; Burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery following
 the service.&nbsp;
