
Angela Marie “Angie” Ojile, passed away on February 7, 2025, in Phoenix, AZ, losing her fight with cancer. Angela was born on December 21, 1960, in Burlington, lowa. She lived a life woven with passion, entrepreneurship, and kindness.
A true visionary, Angie was the founder and owner-operator of an antique warehouse, where she blended a love for history and craftsmanship with an extraordinary ability to uncover hidden treasures. Her entrepreneurial spirit extended beyond antiques- she was also a longtime realtor and investor, always seeking new opportunities with determination and insight.
Angie's heart belonged not only to her work but also to the animals she so deeply loved. A devoted advocate for their welfare, she dedicated herself to rescuing animals in need and supporting organizations committed to their care. Her home was a sanctuary where beloved pets found safety and warmth in her nurturing presence.
More than her accomplishments, Angie will be remembered for the profound impact she had on those around her. She possessed an innate ability to make others feel seen and valued, offering unwavering support and encouragement whenever it was needed. The memories she leaves behind are filled with love and light. Angela's final resting place will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Burlington, lowa.
A memorial has been established for the continued care of Angie's beloved pets and pet rescues. May her compassion live on through the lives she touched.
Angela is survived by her mother, Jeannette Ojile; siblings Melissa (Mike) Alexandropoulos, Julie (Ed) Hamlin, and Robert Ojile II; nieces and nephews Trinity (Shane) Zesch, Kylee Kauffman, Parker Kauffman, Leyton Kauffman, Atticus Ojile, and Owen Ojile; as well as one great-nephew, Oliver Zesch. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ojile; nephew Travis White; maternal grandparents Loretta and Francis Engler; and paternal grandparents Mary and William Ojile.
A celebration of life will be held in Angie’s honor on April 27, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Pzazz Event Center in Burlington, Iowa.
