James Richard Rogers, 73, of Burlington, died Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington. Born April 17, 1952, in Burlington, he was the son of Leland Richard and Kathryn Lois Calhoun Rogers. James enjoyed flying radio controlled airplanes, fishing, deep sea fishing when he lived in Florida, and going to 34 Raceways. He loved all things racing, especially NASCAR and was an avid Kyle Larson fan.&nbsp; Survivors include his son, Quentin Adam Rogers; two grandchildren, Catarina and Garrett Rogers; brother, Jerry Wayne Rogers of Burlington; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janet Kay Mattson. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory. There will be no visitation or services. Prugh Funeral Service is in care of the arrangements.
