Teresa Lynn Davis, born on Jan. 28, 1969, passed away peacefully in her home on Aug. 9, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was 55 years old.
Teresa was a true beacon of light in the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had an extraordinary gift for connecting with people, and to her, there was never a stranger—just a friend she hadn’t met yet. Her boundless compassion and genuine love for helping others left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Teresa found her greatest joy in the simple yet profound moments of life, especially those spent with her cherished family. Whether it was sharing laughter at a family gathering or enjoying the timeless tunes of 80’s music, she knew how to make every moment memorable. Her presence was a source of comfort and happiness, and her love will continue to echo in the hearts of those she touched.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Justin Davis and Sydney Davis of West Burlington, Iowa, who were the pride and joy of her life; her parents, Ellen and Alan Hardy of New London, Iowa; her sisters Staci Archibald Myers of Burlington, Iowa, and Tiffany Lutz of Houston, Texas. Teresa is also survived by her partner, Gary Hoeppner.
Teresa’s legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support for others will be deeply missed, but it will live on in the memories of all who knew her. She has left this world a better place simply by being a part of it.
