Norman Pilgram, 82, of Burlington, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 20, 2022.

Born August 2, 1939, in Burlington, he was the son of Frederick and Nora E. Bonar Pilgram. On December 31, 1962, he married the love of his life, Marilyn Kay Brown, in Burlington. She passed June 27, 1998.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a medic during the Vietnam War.

Norm worked as an electrician for over 60 years. He started his career working for Keith's Electric before he started his own business, Norm's Electric, that he ran for 35 years before retiring. In addition, he was also the proprietor of R&R Development that he operated until his death.

He was a member of Shoquoquon Boat Club and enjoyed spending time on the river. Norman enjoyed spending time at his farm with all of his animals. He was an avid hunter and "river rat". But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters and his dog, Nahla. Norm will be remembered for his hard work ethic, his ornery streak, and the pranks he played on his friends and family.

Survivors include his daughter, Rhonda Pilgram-Brown of Burlington; four granddaughters, Brandy Brown of Fla., Heidi Brown of N.C., Brittany (Korey) Boughton-Baker of Burlington, Brooklyn (Grant Corzatt) Boughton of Sperry; and one sister, Betty (Tom) Berry of Oreg.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Rachelle Pilgram-Boughton, one brother, Gary Pilgram and his father-in-law/partner in crime, Claude Brown.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.

Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or services
