Glenda N. Madden,&nbsp;83, of West Point, Iowa, died at 8:40 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2026, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Fort Madison, Iowa.

She was born on August 24, 1942, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Eddie and Elizabeth Hackard Harker. On April 29, 1963 she married Donald G. Madden. He preceded her in death in December 29, 2001.

Survivors include her son: Jerry (Pam) Madden of West Point, Iowa; four grandchildren: Derek, Cassaundra, Ashley, Kierstan; sister: Virginia Malaney; one nephew and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Donald; son: Kenny L. Madden and brother: Elvin Harker.

Glenda was a graduate of Keokuk High School. She and Donald owned and operated the Western Bar in Fort Madison, then worked as a pharmacy tech at Rashid Drug. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz Funeral Home for cremation.

A celebration of Glenda's life will be held at a later date.
