Diana Marie Miller, 76, of Burlington, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born Nov. 16, 1945, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Earnest "Art" and Virginia Burkett Robins Timmerman. On April 25, 1964, she married Donald Miller in Oquawka, Ill.
Diana worked for Exide Batteries for 24 years and upon their closing, she went to Dayton's School of Hair Design and got her Cosmetology Degree. She then became an instructor there and worked for them until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband; four children, Donna Miller, Larry Miller, and Meta Miller Dixon, all of Burlington, and Ginny Atchley of Danville; one sister, Melody Peterson of Burlington; one brother, Earnie Timmerman of Burlington; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
