Judith Moerke, 86, of Burlington, died Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington. Born August 9, 1940, in Burlington, she was the daughter of John Wesley and Jessie Mae Krekel Smith II. She married Robert C. Moerke and they enjoyed many years together until his passing in August 11, 2008. Survivors include her brother, John Wesley Smith III of Crawford, NE; nieces, Traci (Shawn) Wright and Lisa Smith; great nieces and nephews and her many friends.&nbsp; Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents. There will be no formal services but burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.&nbsp; Prugh Funeral Service is in care of the arrangements.
